Restaurant roundup: New Italian restaurant opens in Annapolis — Baltimore Business Journal

Annapolis is now home to a new Italian eatery. Tuscan Prime Italian Chophouse and Dolce Bar opened quietly earlier this month and will celebrate its grand opening on March 1, the restaurant’s leadership announced this week. The chophouse, a new concept from the Annapolis-based Monte Restaurant Development Group, centers on steaks, chops and pasta, with sides like asparagus parmesan, truffle fries and honey dijon Brussels sprouts. The eatery also has a raw bar with oysters and clams on the half shell, as well as a cocktail program featuring drinks like the “Tuscan Affair,” a mix of gin, limoncello and blood orange foam. Tuesday’s grand opening kicks off with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m., followed by Aperol Spritz samplings, hors d’oeuvres and the unveiling of a new happy hour menu. 1905 Towne Centre Blvd., Annapolis.
